Person-to-person Evangelism
At our church, every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday we do person-to-person evangelism (door-to-door ministry). We do this in different communities sharing hope to the hurting people, providing counseling, and praying for them.
Uganda is amongst the third world countries where there are many poor and illiterate people. Most have been taken advantage of and are mistreated daily. This ministry shows them that Jesus is the only true hope. We share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these people and help them where we can. We teach them that God desires to meet their needs more than they are able to receive.
Crusades
In this ministry, we host massive outreaches in the community where we spread the Gospel in an open field that allows the villagers to hear the Good News of Jesus. We transport our own public address (PA) systems on our church truck to these villages where we would conduct a two week crusade.
At the end of each crusade meeting, we show Christian movies, including: The Passion of Christ, The Life of Christ, The Book of John, etc. Recently we held open air meetings (crusades) (some 42 miles away from our main church) in each of the surrounding communities. There were about 145 people who gave their lives to Christ, and the local church grew from 35 members to about 180 members! We give all the glory to our God.
